Do Not Use Excessive Amounts of Toilet Paper
Do Not Flush any Bathroom Items outside of Toilet Paper (Examples: Do Not Flush Paper Towels, Flushable Wipes, Q-Tips, Cotton Balls, Dental Floss, etc.)
Do Not Use Excessive Amounts of Bleach When Washing Clothes. Used in moderation is ok but bleach can break down the 'Good Bacteria' in your Septic Tank Causing Your Tank to Fill at a Faster Rate, Requiring it to be Pumped More Frequently
Do Not Drive Over Septic Tank or the Drain Field (If you are not sure where your tank is located, you can submit a request to Davidson County to obtain this information at the Davidson County website https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/ , scroll to the bottom of page and select 'Request for Environmental Health Records'.

"I got in touch with Mr Daniel Ferguson of Ferguson Septic around Noon 6/8/21 the day our septic backed up. He was so very nice and offered to come take a look the same afternoon. (He and his father - family business) they came around 3pm and worked tiresly to dig down to the septic by hand. Our system was put in about 30 yrs ago and was under about 2 foot of old red plowed and packed farmland. They worked very hard, but with a smile. In the end they pumped our septic tank and cleaned up everything, put the dirt back. And, at what I will tell you was a GREAT price $$ after checking around. All in all.
